Neutralisation
Bremen University, Marum Institute
Experience has shown that the wastewater from laboratory and industrial applications has to be neutralised.
This is also due to the fact that for increasingly sophisticated tests more and more demineralised and thus unbuffered water is used.
Low concentrations of acids and bases already cause considerable pH level shifts.
Herein, special space saving and low-cost neutralisation installations are used. These installations operate with acids, bases or carbonic acid.
